from a humane point of view, nor a political, thats just
irrational thinking if you ask me. The spot they chose was
not some kind of predetermined "gather here if you want out"
spot from the beginning, and all things considered they're
lucky they made it in one piece to begin with.
a few asshats may be skewing this in the media, but others
are catching on and calling them on it, other WHITE people.
The last thing we need is some bs racial tension, especially
considering the majority of people i've seen volunteering
locally, volunteering in NO, flying helicopters, driving
boats, etc etc are WHITE. Let it PLURPLURPLURPLUR off your
back and ignore it, its bullshit, we know it right along
with you, just let it pass peacefully. The people out there
are doing all they can to help, no one is intentionally
being left behind, thats just unjustified paranoia.
you're right, it is irrational thinking
but that doesn't mean it's not being thought...i'm in no way
condoning it, i completely agree that we don't need any racial
bs going on now...i'm just calling a duck a duck...i'm also
not in any way saying damn the man, i know there are white
people out there trying to help, i myself am doing what i can
to help, i've been to the shelters up here donating things to
the evacuees and i'm not all up in arms about the dumb
bullshit that is being spewed by a select few, i was just
joining the conversation that was being discussed...i don't
think you should take it like i'm the one saying and
perpetuating the ignorance, my heart goes out to all those
