Another look behind us down the aisle (which means we're actually looking towards the front of the plane.

Midflight we got to climb down a ladder into the cargo area, walk to the front of the plane, and then climb up another ladder to the cockpit area.

Here we are walking through the cargo area (and yes, that's a truck with a trailer attached just chilling in the belly of the plane).

Now in the cockpit, you can see the KC-10 flying just overhead and in front of us ready to hook up to refuel our plane.

It's surreal knowing that you've got 2 aircraft flying so close together when you're over the ocean.

Looking out the cockpit window as the KC-10 fuel operator guides the refueling pipe towards us.

You can see the refueling pipe getting closer to us.
